ऋतिक ने अपने सपनों के शहर मुंबई में दो फ्लैट खरीदे हैं। फ्लैट जुहू-वर्सोवा लिंक रोड पर मन्नत अपार्टमेंट्स की 14 वीं, 15 वीं और 16 वीं मंजिल पर स्थित हैं। कहा जाता है कि समुद्र को उन फ्लैटों से करीब से देखा जा सकता है।

 38 वर्ग फीट में बने ये फ्लैट बहुत ही शानदार हैं। इसके अलावा, फ्लैट में 6500 वर्ग फीट की छत है। ऋतिक को इसके लिए करीब 97.50 करोड़ रुपये देने होंगे। उन्होंने अब तक 675 करोड़ रु। ऋतिक अपने परिवार के साथ जल्द ही इन फ्लैट्स में जाने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। वह वर्तमान में जुहू इलाके में अक्षय कुमार के बगल में रहता है।

ऋतिक फिलहाल अपनी फिल्म 'क्रिस 4' की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। वह इसके लिए दिन-रात मेहनत कर रहा है। इसके अलावा, वह वर्तमान में स्क्रिप्ट पर दैनिक चर्चा में लगे हुए हैं। कहा जाता है कि इसकी तैयारी में कई महीने लग जाएंगे।
