Debating on behalf of Vamdev, 13 senior lawyers will win the case?
On the issue of appointment to the National Assembly, senior and well-known advocates, including the former president of the Nepal Bar Association, will debate on behalf of CPN (Maoist) Vice President Bamdev Gautam.
The issue of appointment of National Assembly members is being debated in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. Thirteen well-known advocates from Gautam's side are preparing to debate. Yuvaraj Sangraula informed.
According to Senior Advocate Sangraula, Senior Advocates Sher Bahadur KC, Raghav Lal Vaidya, Prem Bahadur Khadka, Chandrakant Gyawali, Kumar Sharma Acharya and others will debate.
KC is a former president of the Nepal Bar Association. Similarly, Vaidya, Khadka and Gyawali are known as senior advocates who have a good debate on the constitution.
Apart from this, the government appointing Gautam as a member of the National Assembly and the party recommending him will also appoint a separate advocate to debate the issue, said Sangraula. A separate team from the government office will argue in favor of Gautam.
"We have 12 or 13 senior advocates in our team," said Sangraula.
He said the debate is likely to end tomorrow.
More than nine lawyers, including senior advocate Hari Upreti, will also argue on behalf of Dinesh Tripathi, who is filing the case.
The cabinet meeting on August 13 had recommended to President Vidyadevi Bhandari to nominate Gautam for the vacant post in the National Assembly. He took the oath of office and secrecy on September 20.
Tripathi had filed a writ petition at the apex court on September 20 demanding revocation of the appointment. A bench of Supreme Court Judge Ananda Mohan Bhattarai had on August 22 ordered to keep the appointment as it is and not to give additional powers till the issue is settled.
The Supreme Court had given both the parties time for debate on October 30.

वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता संगरुला के अनुसार, वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता शेर बहादुर केसी, राघव लाल वैद्य, प्रेम बहादुर खड़का, चंद्रकांत ग्यावली, कुमार शर्मा आचार्य और अन्य बहस करेंगे।
केसी नेपाल बार एसोसिएशन के पूर्व अध्यक्ष हैं। इसी तरह, वैद्य, खड़का और ग्यावली वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ताओं के रूप में जाने जाते हैं जिनकी संविधान पर अच्छी बहस होती है।
इसके अलावा, सरकार ने गौतम को नेशनल असेंबली के सदस्य के रूप में नियुक्त किया है और उनकी सिफारिश करने वाली पार्टी इस मुद्दे पर बहस करने के लिए एक अलग वकील की नियुक्ति करेगी। सरकारी कार्यालय की एक अलग टीम गौतम के पक्ष में बहस करेगी।
संगरुला ने कहा, "हमारी टीम में 12 या 13 वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता हैं।"
उन्होंने कहा कि बहस कल खत्म होने की संभावना है।
वरिष्ठ वकील हरि उप्रेती सहित नौ से अधिक वकील, दिनेश त्रिपाठी की ओर से भी बहस करेंगे, जो मामला दायर कर रहे हैं।
13 अगस्त को हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक ने राष्ट्रपति विद्यादेवी भंडारी को गौतम को राष्ट्रीय सभा में रिक्त पद के लिए नामित करने की सिफारिश की थी। उन्होंने 20 सितंबर को पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ ली।
त्रिपाठी ने 20 सितंबर को शीर्ष अदालत में एक रिट याचिका दायर की थी जिसमें नियुक्ति को रद्द करने की मांग की गई थी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश आनंद मोहन भट्टाराई की पीठ ने 22 अगस्त को नियुक्ति को यथावत रखने और आदेश जारी होने तक अतिरिक्त अधिकार नहीं देने का आदेश दिया था।
शीर्ष अदालत ने दोनों पक्षों को 30 अक्टूबर को बहस के लिए समय दिया था।
